Here are some of my favorite recent internet finds.
Let me know what you think, once you've clicked:
The amazing Oxytocin.
You were born in the heart of a star.
I have to try this soup.
How to turn a scarf into a vest in 2 (no-sew) steps.
What really limits length of gestation in humans (hint: it's not pelvis size).
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
XO,
Leigh

I really didn't know oxytocin could be credited with so much! Something I should probably remember from my anatomy classes at uni... Thanks for posting and have a lovely weekend!

ReplyDeleteI took the traditional schooling and college route, as no other option was ever presented to me as viable or acceptable. And having grown up within that paradigm, my first reaction is skepticism at the idea that there are other, perhaps better, options than college.
ReplyDeleteHowever, as a 33-year old who is still searching for a career and who feels that college didn't prepare me for one, I found the "Hustler's MBA" article compelling. If a person is disciplined enough, I don't see why they shouldn't self-educate. I think the real x-factor for success in both education and life is not the path one takes to gain knowledge, but rather each individual's discipline, drive and passion.
so, i'm in love with the rings in that picture. where did you find it??
ReplyDeleteThey're from this Etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/blog/en/2012/midwest-alchemy/
DeleteSo fab, right?
