My sister shared this phenomenal trailer with me yesterday and I was blown away. Now I can't wait to check out this film! Doesn't it look so unusual and amazing? Have you seen it yet, and if so, what did you think?
BTW, Pina was directed by Wim Wenders, who I will love always for having created one of the most unforgettable movies I've ever seen, Wings of Desire.

It looks great!
ReplyDeletewow! i can not wait to see that!
ReplyDeleteI am so bummed though because in Chicago it's only playing in 3D and I am 38 weeks pregnant and don't want to go into labor. Gonna have to wait for it to come out on DVD:(
ReplyDeletewanna see it! But probably it won't arrive in my country... many films don't do it to Spain!

this movie is amazing!!! it was in theaters in Europe last spring.
ReplyDeletepina's work is incredible, win wenders is a master...the film was recorded intentionally for 3D, so it is an amazing experience, you really feel like you are part the dance performances....and the interviews are extremely moving.
hope you can catch it at a theater! :)

ReplyDeleteI've been eagerly anticipating this movie for MONTHS!!! Alas, it probably won't come to my state, where most things artistic and fantastic are against the law...
ReplyDeleteI saw it in 3D last year. It was beautiful and felt like you were truly in the film watching her dance. Very excited to go to the Pina Bausch festival at Sadlers Wells this year!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness I love Pina so much!!! She has inspired me in so many ways. And to Rachael above who gets to go to Sadlers Wells- I am so jealous!!! Love that place. It made my stay in London magical.
