What a beautiful, moving, inspiring, honest little film. I hope you'll watch it and take this Valentine's day to reflect on loving and appreciating yourself and your body in all of its imperfect perfection.

WOW. this was exactly what i needed today, the anniversary of when i found out i was pregnant ! thank you for sharing this beautiful film.
ReplyDeleteLeah you are so great, thank you for this.
ReplyDeleteLeigh, this is one of the most empowering pieces on women's bodies I have ever seen. The juxtaposition of images from nature to mama belly skin had me settling into my own feeling deep acceptance, gratitude & love. Thank you so much for this inspiration. Happy V-Day! XOXO
ReplyDeleteI feel grateful I found it! It moved me to tears and I knew it would resonate with so many of my readers. Glad you ladies loved it.
ReplyDeletesuch a great film, thanks you!
ReplyDeleteThis made me cry a bit. I was watching as I nursed my second son. My belly is 3 months post partum and if I think about it too long, I will get anxiety.... I don't want to be too tough on myself yet! But....I do want my old stomach back.
ReplyDeletePOWERFUL!!
ReplyDeleteAs someone that is dreaming of the day she becomes pregnant...I must say that I look forward to creating my own nest, and having the beauty scars of mommyhood. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThis made me cry too, but not for the same reasons as most of you. I have been trying to conceive for a few years, undergoing assisted reproduction procedures, putting all my heart and soul into the process. I am now coming to terms with the fact that I will never have those birth markings and it hurts like hell. Anyone who is lucky enough to conceive, carry a pregnancy to term and deliver their baby should celebrate their bodies and feel blessed. I hope this doesn't sound bitter. Love yourselves ladies!
ReplyDeleteThanks = ) Now I can eat another cupcake ; )
ReplyDeleteWOW! this moved me. thank you for sharing!
