Birth Story of the Week: In the Front Seat of a Ford Focus

Clocking in at less than a minute of footage, this is one of the shortest, yet one of the most powerful birth videos I've ever posted! Amazing.

PS: Have I really neglected this series since the end of October??? I have to get back into it...I miss the stories!

  4. oh my gosh! i laughed and then wanted to cry. way to go mama. that was incredible. and yes, please, bring the series back! i'm expecting my second in june and am soaking up anything and everything on birthing!

  17. wow! so calm about it. I'm expecting my first in just about 5 weeks now and i'm nervous, but as birth stories go, this was lovely and comforting to see that in a situation like this, it can all go ok!

  23. WHOA. I just watched this at work after JUST SUBSCRIBING to your blog because we are now Twitter pals. AND I CRIED. And I cannot believe how CALM that woman is. And she's on the phone, like, "Oh, I just had the baby in the car." WHAT A KICK ASS LADY!
