friday giveaway

Who Was Born at Home? is a fantastic new children's book written by a good friend of mine, Corie Feiner, who has offered to send a copy to the winner of this giveaway!

Inspired by her own experience as a home birth mama, and drawing on her skills as a poet and advocate, Who Was Born at Home? takes readers on a delightful and educational tour through history to meet many of the iconic and influential people who were born at home. Along the way, the charming illustrations by George Sandidge show us renderings of the homes that Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Edison, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Amelia Earhart, (to name just a few) were born in. Woven into this enlightening look into the past is the story of Corie's own home birth, adding a heartfelt and personal twist to an already touching book.

For a chance to win a copy of Who Was Born at Home? please watch the book trailer and leave a comment on this post by Sunday, December 11 at 11:59 pm. I'll announce the winner next week. Good luck!

UPDATE: The winner of this giveaway is Bethany Reine'! Congrats, and thanks to all who entered and left such lovely comments :)
