UPDATED: how to peel a head of garlic in less than ten seconds

Best kitchen tip ever!!!

Meanwhile, a little update ;) Since I posted this last night, my foodie dad was inspired to try the technique out. He had a hunch that the size of the container wouldn't matter, so he tried it with a tiny little saucepan + lid. And it totally worked! How cute is his expression of wonder, in the second pic? LOL.

  11. Wow! That does look handy! Although...I never peel garlic. I just put it through the garlic press no matter what the recipe says to do with it.
