I love this series you do. I always think about how normative breastfeeding was until very recent (American) history. I imagine that a modern-day painter / artist would be flogged like mad for depicting Christ at the breast. I appreciate the thought provoking nature of the series - keep it up!!!
Hi, and welcome. My name is Leigh. After over ten years of living in NYC, I recently moved to the 'burbs with my amazing husband, Taro, and our three beautiful children. Once upon a time, I was a sculptor. I am a lifelong unschooler. I am passionate about issues related to pregnancy, birth, and motherhood, as well as art, design, fashion, travel, books, music, and food. I hope you enjoy my eclectic mix of topics. Feel free to join in the conversation! I love comments and emails.
