    I started reading your blog for the birth stories just before I had my son when I was hoping for a natural, med-free birth. I wound up with a bit of a traumatic birth experience, and would have stopped reading your blog out of jealousy for the birth stories, but I just love the images of breastfeeding you post, as well as the random musings.

    I'm Jessica, I'm 24, I'm an actress/ producer working at an ad ageny. I"ve been following your blog for almost a year. I dream about being a wife and mother and you inspire me everyday to learn more about my body, mind and spirit!
    Funny story-- my boyfriend and I were down in the west village a few weeks ago and he pointed out a young boy on the street and said, 'Oh, I used to see that boy all the time, he used to come into the studio (I think it was called Anglo-American Ballet and then became Flamenco Latina) and rehearse with this group called Our Time!' My boyfriend used to work the front desk there! He knows I follow your blog, but the connection was never made between me, you, Taro, Our Time and him! Small world, huh?

I live on an island in Southeast Alaska with my husband, our son, our blue heeler named Willie and about 8,000 other people. I work for a division of the British government, but, unfortunately, my job is ending next week due to budget cuts across the pond. I'm looking for my next gig (job hunting sucks). I'm not a mom (yet), but I keep coming back to your blog because a) it's entertaining and well-written; b) your kids are totally adorable; and c) reading about your and contributors' experiences with birthing and raising kids helps me be a little more prepared and informed for when my husband and I decide to have kids.
