printing this out and carrying it with me

Happy Monday!

I adore this graphic.
I find it particularly relevant, in light of the this ongoing outrage in an Atlanta suburb.

Thanks for the tip, Joanna!

  1. Isn't it great?! Maybe it ought to be a window decal, then you could just stick it in store windows before you nurse, haha.

    *it's late.... :P

  4. It's a pie chart. The percent of women who are exposing their breast in public to tend to their baby's basic need is 100%, the women doing it for the other reasons listed is 0% :)

  7. Hm, interesting "argument" in Georgia. And what about my 20 month old who is always mistaken for a 2 1/2 year old?! Wonder what they'd think about him breastfeeding in public.

Leigh, did you receive my birth story? I emailed it a few days ago. Just checking. :)

  8. I've just had some cards printed that say thank you for breastfeeding in public that I'm quietly handing out - we need to make nursing mamas feel special and thank them for their efforts!

  9. Great!

I think I will print this one and hang it in my entrance hall. Like a warning sign or something.

I'll definately post it on my blog.

  10. Isn't there a typo in it? Shouldn't it say:
"Breastfeeding mothers who expose themselves in public are attempting to:"
    ??
