I am SO excited to announce this giveaway. One of my lovely sponsors, Catbird Baby, is offering one of their amazing pikkolo carriers + winter cover to a lucky Marvelous Kiddo reader!
The winner of this giveaway will also win the original winter cover designed for wide-base carriers like mei tais and SSCs! The Catbird Baby cover is sleek and simple; you just lay the top flap over the top edge of your carrier and snap down under the shoulder straps. The shell is soft, sueded, water-resistant microfiber in black, the lining is heather charcoal gray fleece. An elasticized foot pocket keeps baby's legs cozy and warm. Fits up to approximately age 2. Also great as a foot blanket in the car or snap to your umbrella stroller. Made in United States.
Catbird Baby was kind enough to send me both of these items for review, so I can attest to how comfortable, functional, versatile, and easy-to-use this carrier is. If you are just getting started with babywearing, the pikkolo would be a wonderful and simple introductory carrier. Likewise, if you already have a large stash of slings and wraps (like I do!) the pikkolo would be a terrific addition. I have not used another carrier besides this one since it arrived last week! I also love the super-soft, snuggly, warm-yet-lightweight winter cover. It has made going out in the suddenly bitter NYC cold much more enjoyable ;)
SO, without further ado, here's what you need to do to enter to win:
1. "Like" Catbird Baby on Facebook
2. Check out the entire line of carriers on the Catbird Baby website
3. Leave a relevant comment on this post. Be sure to include your email address
EXTRA ENTRIES:
You may get one additional entry per day by Tweeting or Sharing this giveaway on Facebook. Just be sure to leave separate comments for each additional entry to count and you MUST include the URL of each Tweet/Share.
The deadline to enter is 11:59 EST, Sunday, December 12.
Good Luck!

Ooh, I'm so interested in the Pikkolo! My husband loves his mei tai but can't do a back carry with it, so we've been looking at SSCs. I'm also intrigued by a carrier that does front-facing in a way that's comfortable for parent & baby, so many people want that and so few carriers do it well.

ReplyDeleteLove the fleece cover. I'm about to have a second baby and rethinking all of the carrying stuff now that I have to take winter weather and tiny one into consideration. Last time around we had a warm bigger kid by the time it was cold!

The pikkolo is a fabulous carrier. I once had the opportunity to borrow one briefly and loved it. The forward-facing carry was great for my daughter, who always wants to look out at the world. My favorite pikkolo print on the Catbirdbaby website is "georgia"; the Mei Tai options are adorable, too.

I love all the catbird baby stuff! I'm already a fan on FB ! I would love to have a carrier and cover, because we just moved from sunny CA to FREEZING cold TX!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, well designed and comfortable for both baby and mommy. The accessories are also great, especially the winter cover ups given we live in Canada :) Before I forget, I wanted to point out one really cool feature of the Pikkolo: you can cinch the bottom (i.e.: where the legs will come out) so that it provides a better, more comfy fit for smaller babies - something I found very helpful when I realized my baby boy was a bit too big for the Ergo's infant insert but not quite big enough to go without :) Oh, and, of course, I like Catbird Baby on FB!
ReplyDeleteA carrier like this would extend my babywearing life! I have big babies, and I am due with boy #2 any day now! I now officially "Like" catbird on facebook!

Wow, this is my dream carrier - a meitai that buckles but still has cross over back straps! I didn't think they existed. And the weather cover is a must for cold NY winters. I'm very excited by these products! I liked catbird on facebook and (obviously) checked out their website and products.
