Happy Monday, friends! We had a fun and exciting weekend, adventuring around Central Park and romping around the newly-opened gourmand's paradise, Eataly NYC. My parents arrived for a visit last night, so we're looking forward to more fun over the next few days. With my mom around, I hope to tackle our Halloween costumes...if only we could settle on what to be! (J's latest inspiration is to dress up as Fantastic Mr. Fox).

ReplyDeletecostumes are not the best subject around here. i searched mom2mom sales and goodwill for something for mateo, my only criteria being that we get him an animal he recognizes. but my frugal self wouldn't pay more than $10 for a costume. i finally gave up and vowed to make it myself, went to the craft store, bought everything to make a fuzzy suck suit, and when i checked out the total came to over $30... of course.
ReplyDeletei'm pretty bummed that we are missing halloween this year. we are going to Portugal on wednesday for a month and they don't really celebrate halloween.
