Maggie, I looked it up on French Amazon, and it is available there, for only 9.99 Euros: http://www.amazon.fr/Premier-Cri-Notre-Histoire-Tous/dp/B001210WIQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1287669717&sr=1-1
I live in England, so my Amazon.fr order will be here tomorrow! This looks like such an interesting movie. Thanks for the tip. Though do keep in mind that for US readers, it's a region 2 DVD on Amazon.fr, so it won't work in American DVD players...
Katy, thanks for your comment. However, Rixa has another post which includes an easy tip for getting around the DVD settings in North America! Check it out: http://rixarixa.blogspot.com/2010/10/how-to-watch-le-premier-cri.html
