silly me, i kept looking at this picture thinking 'she's posted this before. i really like it, but she must have forgotten that she's posted it before.' then my brain started to work and i realized that it's the same picture i have on my own fridge and look at everyday. : ) random, i know, but i just wanted to share.
Breastfeeding is wonderful and a beautiful bond between mother and baby. TraceyxMaternity BrasCake Blog
I have to admit: the picture just strikes me as being a little odd. The baby looks...almost...like an adult. Is there a story behind this portrait? (I wonder).email@example.com
Does this necessarily mean that he was a breastfeeding supporter? Had women had the option of formula back then, would he have still chosen to paint this way, or would the baby have had a bottle stuck in his mouth? And to Stephanie, women hundreds of years ago nursed their children much longer than today's minimum of 6 months...so it was not unusual to see a child (as opposed to an infant) nursing at his mother's breast.
Too funny!!! Breastfeeding has and still is the best way!UyoFounder & CEO - Nursing Bras at an Affordable Price
