Lunch Yum

Photobucket

Today, J and W and I got of the house relatively early and decided to spend our day in a whole other part of town. We hopped on the train and headed downtown, eventually wandering over to the East Village. Hungry, we decided to eat at Angelica Kitchen. J was super-exited about partaking of their Soba Sensation dish, which he has been craving. Just look at that happily expectant face, above!

J snapped this one of me and the snoozing W...

...And here is the boy, chowing down! Yum. He actually stopped shoveling the noodles in long enough to pronounce this food to be on his short list of favorite foods, right after mammo and french fries with ketchup :)

Afterwards, we walked a couple of blocks to Momofuku Milk Bar, where we tried their famous Cereal Milk soft serve ice cream, which was as intense as it sounds!

I hope you had a delicious Monday!

  5. Lovely Little Things, I purchased the sling is from Sakura Bloom. It is from their Pure Linen collection, and it is the perfect thing for summertime babywearing: http://www.sakurabloom.com/categories/Baby-Slings-Pure-Linen/

  6. I love that you explore the city together!

And what is it about little kids and ketchup? Our 3-year-old loves it too. :)

  10. How funny, I was just talking with my brother about soba noodles yesterday. He told me to try them sometime and I think J has me sold with that sweet, excited look on his face! I'll have to remember this place the next time I'm in the area.

  13. I was going to ask what flavor you tried (or tried to try!)--glad you got to enjoy some. J is adorable. I love how the menu nearly outsizes him! Looks like a wonderful outing.

(P.S. Oops! That was me as Aron; I accidentally posted while he was still signed in.)
