What do all of these tops have in common (besides the fact that they're super-cute!)? They're nursing tops! I just discovered the online French breastfeeding/maternity boutique,
Mama Nana, and I am in love. It's not often that you see such an array of chicly-designed clothing for nursing in comfort and style! They have everything from
dresses to
tops to
sweaters to
lingerie -- all with the fashionable nursing mom in mind. Googling "currency converter"...
So cute. I need to save this site.
ReplyDeletegah! about bloody time! it's ridiculous how awful most maternity clothes are and even MORE ridiculous that there is hardly anything chic to wear when you're nursing. love this site. will have to get my cousin to translate it to me as I have no idea what i am reading!
ReplyDeleteGeorgia, it took me a while to notice this too, but you can easily select to view the whole site in english by clicking near the top right!

Really, really chic - but I do have one thing to say. I wore strapless tops, or a boob tube when I was breastfeeding. I wound up with mastitis because they were restrictive and put pressure on my breast tissue and didn't allow the milk ducts to be drained properly. Needless to say, I ditched those style tops 'til I was done with breastfeeding.

ReplyDeleteOh my! Thank you for the observation about the strapless tops, yikes! I had not thought about the possibility of clogged ducts, but now that you mention it that sounds like an all-too-possible and totally painful problem with wearing strapless tops :( I never wear strapless anyway, just because I feel uncomfortable doing so, and like my boobs are too big for it to be a flattering style on me. But thanks for the warning for Mamas that might be into strapless looks while breastfeeding!
