The Face of Birth
I found this trailer on Jodi's blog. The Face of Birth is currently in production. Judging from this preview, it looks like a wonderful film documenting the political struggle to protect birthing choice in Australia. The issues are so important and relevant to people everywhere who value the basic human right to give birth in a non-hospital environment. I can't wait to see the movie in its entirety.

ReplyDeleteI've been following them on fb since i saw the trailer and the doco looks like it's going to be awesome. they just interviewed sheila kitzinger and michel odent! i really hope it can do something to change the situation here in australia. if i were to have another bebe it would be at home and that doesn't look like an option at this point :(
ReplyDeleteOooo - can't wait to see it too.
ReplyDeleteI definitely want to see this! It's so maddening to see this choice taken away from women.
ReplyDeleteCan not WAIT to see this.
ReplyDeleteYes. It looks wonderful. Important.
ReplyDeleteI think it's absolutely outrageous that states and countries try to dictate where a woman can give birth.
