Charlotte's Web

DSC08332
Last night J put pen to paper and created his first representational drawing! I almost cried when I saw it, I loved it so much.

Thanks to Katie, at Where Is Thumbkin, for the beautiful ceramic magnets!

  1. Charlotte's Web is one of my all-time favorite books. Still. That and James and the Giant Peach bring back such amazing childhood memories. I would've cried when I saw this drawing, too! Such a framer (and he definitely inherited his parents' artistic abilities).

  6. Oooohhhaww. That's beautiful! Hus just finished reading Charlotte's Web to me. I never did read it as a kid, he couldn't believe that I *really* didn't know what was going to happen! It was so wonderful. Thanks for sharing this special moment.

  9. You have an artist in the house (which is no surprise at all...considering who his daddy and mama are!). ;)
