There is a mama cardinal nesting just inches away from a window at my parent's house. Every day my mom sends us photos and updates. Following along with the developments is so sweet and amazing. Thanks, Mom!

ReplyDeleteRandom story: At my parents' home in Mississippi, they have a male bird who takes up residence in a crepe myrtle outside their dining room window every spring, sees his own reflection in the window glass and spends hours ... HOURS ... trying to scare the other bird away so he can be the only male around for all the ladies. A daily photo journal of him would not be nearly as educational as the one your mom is doing. Good thing the female birds are charged with the continuation of the species.
