Rozelle Park, New Jersey Councilwoman, Larissa Chen-Hoerning, proudly babywears and breastfeeds her baby at City Council meetings. I love all the positive messages she's sending with her actions, not the least of them that working moms can also be attached moms! Via NJ.com.

YAY!
ReplyDeleteThat is so awesome.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love this, too!

oh, wow! i know Larissa! fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThat is fabulous! I am disturbed by the amount of negative comments, but glad to see there are plenty of people to stand up for her as well.
ReplyDeleteBeing a working and attached mama too, I love love love this!
ReplyDeleteAppreciated this post. When I was still a full time work out of home mama (boo-hoo) I had the audacity to call myself an attachment conscious mama, and a woman questioned how I could call myself that if I wasn't home holding my baby all day.
ReplyDeleteUGH.
Wonderful - I've loved the fact I can sling / breastfeed in my mei tai
ReplyDeleteI am so happy that there is someone out there helping with the message that working mums can be attached mums
I love it too. I'd like to see more babies in the workplace and in politics.
