People Magazine is reporting that when Supermodel Gisele Bündchen gave birth to her son on December 8, it was at home in a bathtub! Via Celebrity Baby Blog.
Thanks God for Gisele's decision. I'm a brazilian woman and it's really hard even talk about homebirth around here. My husband and I are planing to get pregnant next year and I always thought about having my babies at home. In a country where doctors are crazy to do sections, Gisele's homebirth brings something new to the scene. She has access to the best hospitals in the world, but she chose to have her baby at home. Perfect!
It's totally natural and safe! "The business of being born" is a helpful documentary that exposes some of the medical side of what is happening especially in the US. I personally trusted God and He came through big time, my third baby, (second home birth) was a water birth and I LOVED it, so much faster and way less pain!!! Praise Jesus for that!
