December Photo Project, Day 3

J made it until 6:15 pm today before konking out hard for his nap. He's been wearing his New York Knicks jersey for going on two weeks now -- the only times I've managed to get it off of him has been for baths and on Thanksgiving day (he agreed to wear a clean, button-down shirt to the festivities, bless him). Otherwise, its been all-jersey-all-the-time. During naps. During nighttime sleep. I need some kind of decoy jersey in order to wash this one! Soon I'll have no choice but to throw it in the laundry -- the toddler-induced patina is accumulating to the point of downright crustiness, lol.

  1. Oh, I sympathize. Kate is currently wanting to wear a Texas A&M cheerleading outfit all the time. It gets soooo filthy, but she won't take it off long enough for me to wash it on a regular basis. They just love what they love SO intensely at this age. It's pretty cute, even if they do make us look like slacker mothers. J is adorable.

  2. My sister wore our home state's NFL football team t-shirt for 36 months straight.

    He looks so peaceful.

    Where's my nap?

  4. Sigh... I just love his curly locks. One day my husband took our middle baby (about 1.75 years old at the time) with him while he (my husband) was supposed to be getting a haircut. When they came back, both of them had a clean cut, and I immediately began to mourn the loss of my little Andrew's curls. In the end, it was Andrew who decided on the haircut. He wanted to look like daddy, and I just can't argue with that. They are both so handsome either way, after all. He has grown it long and cut it short a few times since then, but this picture of your son just reminded me instantly of those early days before any scissors had ever touched my little man's head.

  5. How cute! Your babies are so precious! Do you plan on having anymore? Do you want a girl?
