I love these campaigns too ... but think that in many ways, breastfeeding advocates should also be fighting for longer mandated family leaves (12 months) for mothers. Realistically, it's very difficult for many women to continue to breastfeed once they return to work, an issue that not only affects babies, but also forces many women to choose between their babies and job security.
It's one thing to encourage women to breastfeed as long as possible; it's another to make it all the more possible for them to do so.
