Today it's cold gray and rainy here, and I have a case of the blahs. We went to bed too late last night, woke a few too many times during the night, and the kiddos and I have been sluggish and cranky all day. Things are actually starting to look up, since both of the boys are napping now (finally!) and I'm having a little moment to myself. To relax, I'm going to finish off my current DVD episode of Mad Men, season 2, and munch on an organic chocolate bar with almonds, yum! What do you do to shake off the blahs?

the heat in arizona gives me the blahs often. i've lived in Phoenix for almost three years now and still haven't gotten used to it. So, snowcones help me cope and get rid of my blahs. They also give me a red tongue. :)
ReplyDeletewhat a cute post. its been cold here too. lots of hot chocolate with homemade marshmallows is in order for blah days.
ReplyDeletemovies ... & munch on organic chocolate bar with almonds!!
ReplyDeleteit was so blah today! I'm so sorry to hear you had the blahs!
ReplyDeleteI rent movies and snack. Tonight I'm watching Bridget Jones-The Edge of Reason. It's so funny! Kudos to Renee for playing such a great British gal. And you've got to love Hugh Grant and Colin Firth. My usual blah day movies are UK-based.....Love Actually (actually love it! lol), Pride & Prejudice, P.S. I love you, About a Boy, Notting Hill, Imagine Me & You. And yes, I own all of these....my boyfriend makes fun of me because I've watched them so many times. "Possibly now, mit dem baby".....Hilarious!
ReplyDeleteI have a new friend who has a decadent, ancient rome-y, eucalyptus-y, marbled, huge steam room in her building, so we took turns watching babies while we steamed. Then, she made us an indian lentil porridge topped with mango pickle and yogurt that was so warming in this crappy, cold damp. Usually, getting out and spending time with friends cures me of the blahs.
ReplyDeletemad men! oh i miss it!
ReplyDeletea slurpee, and a good book! or, I go get some ballroom/latin dancing in or any dancing for that matter.
ReplyDeleteMad Men would do it for me or read. xx
ReplyDeletethat sounds like a good plan. it is a gray day here!
ReplyDeleteNormally the first thing I do when I have the blahs is turn on the music. I love to get lost in music.
ReplyDeleteWatch XANADU!!
ReplyDeleteI watched some clips yesterday morning and I was singing all day, feeling nostalgic for roller skates and Gene Kelly.
