Birth Story of the Week

Welcome to the second installment of Birth Story of the Week here on Marvelous Kiddo.

I first saw this sweet video over a year ago on one of my favorite blogs, Free-Range Ramblings, (it has since become invitation-only). As you will see, it details the painless birth of a mother's fifth baby, at home, attended only by her husband (a Neurologist). It is a joy to watch an entire brood of children welcome a new sibling into the world. I hope you will find this little piece as moving as I did!

Let me know if you want to share your own birth story. Email me at leigh(at)leighpennebaker(dot)com if you're interested in being featured here.

  5. That was the most touching video! I'm only sixteen but I'm already planning on having a home/water birth (10 or 20 years from now, of course!). I loved the photograph of big sis and little sis and how their hands were in the same position. It was a treat to watch this precious moment captured in such a beautiful way :)
