I am SO thrilled to be offering this giveaway. Thanks to the generosity of my husband, Taro, one lucky winner will receive a special advance copy of Listen, the upcoming album benefiting Our Time Theatre Company.On June 23rd, a remarkable album, eight years in the making, will be released. Listen is a collection of 15 original songs, written by children who stutter, and recorded by iconic artists including Carly Simon, Daryl Hall & John Oates, Duncan Sheik, John Forte, Mandy Patinkin and many others.
Our Time is a non-profit organization centered on a one-of-a-kind Arts program that provides children who stutter with an environment of unconditional acceptance…a creative forum, where they can express themselves through art, music, writing and theater, slowly and without risk of being shamed.
‘Listen’ will be released on Sh-K-Boom Records, and proceeds will benefit Our Time.

ReplyDeleteI just figured out that I knew Taro when he was a wee boy in Washington, DC, with a friend named Pierre. I spent time with the boys one summer while they hung out with Cas Hyman. This world becomes smaller everyday and that's a good thing.
