Fun With Mamaw and Papaw

My parents just spent the last five days with us, making for the first time we've all been together since Christmas.  We had a great time and only wish it could've lasted longer!  Here are some highlights...

Painting with Papaw:
Napping (and nursing) in the grass in Central Park:

  6. I didn't know you could nurse while pregnant. When I was in labor, I was told to pull on my nipples to release the chemical that starts contractions. Maybe it is only a problem when you are due. Or maybe it isn't a problem. But I definitely started my contractions going by milking myself after only a few minutes.

  10. Awww! It's so good to see those two as grandparents! I bet they could just eat the kiddo up with a spoon.
And, the nursing pics are beautiful.

  12. You can just see the joy in the kiddo's eyes as he interacts with them! I love the nap photos too---nothing like a full-family nap for bonding!

  13. We call my Dad's parents Mamaw and Papaw. I don't hear other people using those names often.
My Mom's parents are Memaw and Pop.

Are you planning to nurse all the way up until the new baby is born...and beyond?
