Last night Taro surprised me with a belated Mother's Day treat: Dinner at a new restaurant! After researching online (for the "most romantic" restaurants) he honed in on the lovely August, located on our favorite street in New York, Bleecker. We arrived before the dinner crowd, so we had the lovely glass-covered courtyard all to ourselves -- it was indeed romantic. The food was delicious (especially the profiteroles we shared for dessert!) and it was really fun to explore a new place together. What did you do this weekend?

What a fabulous venue!
