This morning we trekked to Broadway and 107th to visit our all-time favorite bagel shop, Absolute Bagels. The Kiddo was seriously jonesing for his favorite combo -- a toasted pumpernickel bagel with sundried tomato cream cheese -- and as you can see, he dove right in:

Of course he had to wash the deliciousness down with a swig of oj :)On the walk home I was captivated by the riotous colors of the tulips sitting out in front of our neighborhood flower shop. Yay, Spring!!!

What simple life luxuries have you enjoyed this weekend? I'd love to hear...

ReplyDeleteIt's been cold (in the 40's and low 50's) and raining all week but today and for the next two days it is sunny and high 60's low 70's. I'm just so excited to see and feel the warmth of the sun that everything is a pleasure today!

ReplyDeleteSeawall walking, take-out dinner on the beach and the Witches of Eastwick. Delicious.
ReplyDeleteKiddo is getting to be such a big boy. Thanks for the great photos!
ReplyDeleteThe Crossroads Film Festival was in town this weekend and dad & I went (along with a whole row and a half of friends) to view the documentary "Homegrown".(http://www.pathtofreedom.com/about/media.shtml#treehugger) When I left I was longing for "our little house in the big woods" and a couple of raised beds.
He's so cute! Sounds lovely. Ours was good too - lots of catching up around our nest...
ReplyDeleteso sweet! he is a little munchkin :) i loved having hyacinths that made our whole living room smell amazing, and i loved having two friends over yesterday to drink wine and eat stinky cheese.
ReplyDeleteThose tulips are stunning!
ReplyDeleteAnd I've been wanting a good bagel for the last week or so. But, unfortunately, the nearest bagel shop is about 40 minutes away!
Pumpernickel with sundried tomato + ice coffee from Absolute Bagel = my absolute favorite and dearly missed treat!!! Not to mention the most awesome folks behind the counter.
