Marvelous Giveaway: Beauty in Imperfection Ring

Today I am so excited to present you with an opportunity to win a gorgeous handmade ring from the Beauty in Imperfection Collection by my good friend Barbara Polinsky!  The talented and amazing Barbara has been gracious enough to offer the lucky winner of this giveaway a keepsake that they will always cherish -- and which is sure to be noticed for its breathtaking beauty and uniqueness.  Here is how the artist describes this piece:
Inspired by the idea of imperfection - in nature, in people and in life. This jewelry defines acceptance. What may be considered inconceivable flaws to other jewelers- file markings, visible seams and unpolished edges are the trademark of Beauty in Imperfection. The forms are simple and graceful but the blemishes are what give the jewelry depth and character.

To further play on the metaphor of Beauty in Imperfection, a small diamond is set into each ring. It serves as a reminder that precious gifts in our lives aren't always in plain sight and shouldn't be taken for granted. Each piece has its own story and gets better with wear. All are handmade, using recycled metal - no two are alike. Just like us.

These rings are for anybody who wants to be reminded that perfection is illusive and often unnecessary. This jewelry is what it is, with no apologies.  Made from reclaimed silver.
Be sure to check out all the lovely items available on Barbara's Etsy shop, here.

My dear readers, you have until Monday, April 13th at midnight, PST to enter this giveaway.  Because I'm so thrilled to be offering this special item, I want to give everyone more chances to win!  So this time, one comment gets you one entry AND if you blog or tweet about this giveaway and link back to it I will give you TWO ADDITIONAL chances to win.  (Please leave a comment with the url of your blog post or tweet to be eligible for the additional entries).  I will announce the winner early next week and Barbara will size the ring to fit the lucky person!

Big hugs and a giant "thank you" to Barbara for offering this gorgeous piece to my readers.

  6. What a beautiful ring...and an equally beautiful concept behind us! Beauty in imperfection...I love it. And in face, just last week I was on alumna advisor duty at the sorority house (sheesh; we're old) and the girls were doing a program on just that (dealing with body image).

  8. Absolutely gorgeous rings. I love unusual jewelry and people who create it. Even more now that I don't wear a wedding ring or what is considered a traditional engagement ring.
