Here's a look at the first promo poster released for the upcoming feature film of Where The Wild Things Are, directed by Spike Jonze. What do you think of it? I think it looks kinda awesome and I'm very excited to see the movie when it comes out in October, but the image gives me pause about taking the Kiddo to see the movie too...will it be too weird and scary for him? This was supposed to come out almost a year ago. Besides really big problems with the anamatronic costumes, it was delayed because the studio freaked out when they saw how unfriendly the script was to kids. Jonze says he made the film for adults so it might be a really good movie, but maybe not for kids.

I'm a huge Maurice Sendak fan! Can't wait to see the movie, but I don't think Levi will be coming along for that one.
