There is this amazing new (to me!) fabric resource called Spoonflower that allows anyone to custom-design their own fabric! It's free to sign up on their website, and then you're able to easily upload your own graphics or patterns. When you're ready to order, fabric is $18 a yard, with no minimum purchase! I think this is the universe's way of telling me that it really is time to start sewing already:)

ReplyDeleteFunny, that same old sew and sew devil is tempting me to get out the old machine and whip up some terribly chic things that will just make my life all the more heavenly. A hot iron on the sidelines is key for pressing the seams and neat end results. Especially for pleats, which I adore. Pintucks too.
