Daily Inspiration

Oooh, I just stumbled upon the website PurlSoho. Perl is a great little shop in Soho specializing in beautiful yarns a few doors down from its sister shop, Perl Patchwork, which stocks an array of yummy fabrics. In the past, I have loved getting an eye-full of Purl's colorful wares as I strolled down Sullivan Street, but I had no idea they had such a comprehensive and easily navigable website. You could get lost in the cyber-swatches for hours contemplating a thousand creative projects! I for one have several home projects looming (curtains, chair and bench reupholstering, pillow making) and I think this is just the source to spur me to action...we'll see! Here are a few fabric designs that caught my eye at PurlSoho:
Left: Denyse Schmidt, Sunflower Bows,
Center: Etsuko Furuya, Turquoise Cheetah Landscape
Right: Tina Givens, Raspberry Petals
